China introduces humanoid traffic robot to manage busy intersections in cities. Nickname Hangxing No. 1, the 1.8 metre humanoid now stands at the busy intersections in the streets of Hangzhou, China, according to interesting Engineering. Hangzhou has begun testing a new A.I driven traffic robot, adding a futuristic presence to the busy streets of the Binjiang district. The robot is able to perform clear hand signals for traffic, blow a whistle and identify traffic violations. The A.I robot waves to the crowd and executes voice commands according to South China Morning Post.
